  3.  @Rexhunterj  Firefox is still better and you can also harden it with user.js. Or you can use Firefox forks such as Floorp and LibreWolf.

  4.  @ChozoSR388  Yes, that's true. It's the same with The Tor project for example. It gets government funds, but nobody will ever argue that it's unsafe to use (or that the government is on our side because of it).
