@Sigmacenturion We don't have a labor shortage, because of the lack of people. We have one of the lowest workforce participation rates in US history and one of the lowest of the Developed world. Get rid of free free free food, housing, etc. then those people will have to work to be paid, no workforce issue.

With the exception of those jobs that were already remote, your employer would not be wanting people back to work if remote working was more productive. And if it can be done from home it can be done from China. You are not so special and trained, particularly when the US isn't even in the top 10 for education.
