Me too, I had a big brisket I had in the freezer, had freezer burnt on it in several places, it was 18 months old, I cut all the freezer burnt off, and cooked it, my family said it was the best they ever had, in fact, I did it tonight with freezer burnt chicken, if expired food killed you or made you sick, me and my family would be dead, I have cooked eggs, 6 months old, if something in the fridge looks good and smells good, I eat it. No matter the date, I just hate wasting food.
