It’s like the dynamic between the US and the rest of the world only one way though as the US population generally just sees the rest of the world with curiosity DC is just a district so as to avoid these kind of issues and if anything when you think DC resident you think homeless crack smoking alcoholic if anything there’s no elitism not openly because there’s not supposed to be any advantage to being a resident of the capital you’re just 1 vote regardless I don’t even think they got to vote until recently not being a state the only place in the US with any kind of well known elitism is Silicon Valley in California where they make the phone and app were both using right now

  5.  @atroposz what you’re both not realizing like people not from the capital is DC Maryland and Virginia operate as one state and the rich people of DC live in like Montgomery county in Maryland one of the wealthiest counties in the country rich people can afford to travel to work in the US
