This reminds me of the Chrysler Corporation bailout. Oh, they provided a product to somewhat pay back the money by building military sedans, as one example. The problem was those rust bucket vehicles were made so cheaply it took more money to keep them running and the fenders from falling off than the return of products they provided to compensate for those bailout funds from the Federal Government. By the time 5 years came around, all those rust buckets were junked and the taxpayer again had to pay for the new vehicles to replace them. The taxpayers also paid for this.
