  1. Whether they are there or not, it becomes part of the Congressional record. Not everyone can be there all the time, and that is understood. Impeachment in the House of Representatives Impeachment proceedings may be requested by a member of the House of Representatives, either by presenting a list of the charges under oath or by asking for a referral to the appropriate committee. The impeachment process may be requested by non-members.

  2. I'll be watching the other stations (ABC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, Etc.) and see if they even broadcast this to keep the population informed. Let's see what their opinion is and how they try to play this down.

  4.  @KampKoopa  I'm sure this isn't the last of it. It is read into the record and the video is available evidently for them to view it. They would never get out of those seats all day if they had to schedule around all the representatives that introduced Bills, or Impeachment proceedings on this President and those he hired.

  5.  @jeffdo9195  Who's making excuses for them? No one expects them to occupy a seat in the chamber all day, every day. If they do expect this they are not very good in LOGIC.

  6.  @926paaja  I know you may not realize it, but this isn't the first time the chamber has been empty during a presentation by a House member. There is a reason for that, they are in meetings, there are committees they are part of, and they have to take phone calls and answer mail, etc., etc. Do you sit like a post in the ground when you do your job? If you do an AI robot may replace you because it takes no effort to sit in a chair. Something like this is important and there is a recorder for those who may have missed it; this is nothing new.
