This is a comment from a website that I will not mention, but it almost says everything except the company and corporate names that push this agenda, which has a goal to support the WOKE agenda. Quote: ESG is an investment scam that deceptively uses Americans’ money to push political goals and cut off capital to the oil and gas industry—not to generate the highest returns for retirees, pension holders, and taxpayers. End Quote: What it does appear to be is to boost sales for certain stocks to make them look good and further enrich those who "claim" they are working for the environment. In fact, they are only interested in the bottom line of what they can take in to transfer the wealth to their bank account balances which may or may not be in the best interest of the stock or shareholders involved in the investment and could end up being a big loser the longer you hold the stock. Proxy voting is reliance on someone else to make your decisions on investing and thinking they are looking out for you when they are looking out for themselves only.
