these new cars has a lot of bells and whistles and springs you find in a watchwork due to variable this and that systems that need thin oil flows...

we need to move on to anti gravity propulsion systems so we can do away with all these battle with wear and friction once and for all..

yes i burn oil if i used 5w40 on my air cooled bike instead of 10w40 and it also feels like crap after the bike gets hot (especially stop go traffic) in the tropical climate i live in

i used 5w40 synthetic generic branded car oil in the past....after about 70,000km of use recently i have started using castrol semi synthetic 10w 40 motorcycle suited oil...i find this more suited for my bike in the tropics i live in ...you can use synthetic oil on your bike but make sure its suited for motorcycle wet clutch use...most engines oils on the market are meant for car engines and have detergents and anti friction additives that may not suit wet clutched motorcycles..
