  1. coils in a motor can lose inductance when the varnish like insulation on the coils get worn from extreme heat..batteries can depreciate over time... control circuit boards that throttle the flow of the massive amps of current from battery into the motor can go wrong...control circuits that convert massive dc amps into ac oscillating waves can also go wrong...still better than a ICE engine!! get an electric car best bet you can make!
