Alfred Basurto It's a large amount, but we're in a country of 355million (when you include the estimated 22million illegals). That's 3rd largest population, number one in travel-tourism, basically the most obese country outside the small islands, immigration, most desired destination on the planet, along with people having the right to protest during the pandemic and hundreds of thousands flying back from China because of the Chinese New Year..and likely Chinese agents here to help spread the virus and buy up a lot of the PPE in the early days like we've all seen on video. China's numbers are bogus since they don't share anything, likely much higher than ours, Russia's numbers are probably higher than reported, India and Brazil are maybe the only countries we can do a somewhat fair comparison with. The U.S. is ranked 11th in deaths per capita and there's no doubt that the numbers are padded. There's incentives for hospitals, there's politics being played, there's a lot of people in shock that their deceased loved one had COVID on their death certificate, and 94% of the COVID deaths have happened to people with something like 2.6 serious underlying/contributing issues. Many of these people were already on their death beds. 80% of the deaths=age 65+. We're 13% higher in obesity (adults) here than the UK, 42% and 40% overweight when obesity increases chances of a severe case of COVID by about 30% to 100%. That's something that should be talked about.

there's a thing called a shelter belt that farmers are supposed to grow around their fields, a series of trees to block the wind and prevent erosion, started this after the dust bowl hit, many have forgotten though and got rid of those trees, these trees and microclimates are very important, I'm trying to grow trees in hotter areas, certain trees in stages that can survive and thrive, trying to bring trees back after farms flattened them, it's sad how much has vanished, I'm not some tree-hugger, I know trees also have their drawbacks but there's no future without trees and heck one day anything made of wood is gonna be worth a ton of money because it's going to be in short supply, all these wildfires, hurricanes, wars..those homes have to be replaced every single times, that's a LOT of timber
