  4. She reminds me of a great hilarious show we had in America called Wonder Showzen in 2005 where very young children dressed as journalists would do these..almost identical interviews. But of course she's an adult and she can make some really funny connections rather than just ask childish questions. I highly recommend that show.

  7. I think that's what's great about comedy across the pond from me, with such low budgets you're forced to be more creative and take more chances. Comedy is pretty effed over here in the states.

  8.  @KulaGGin  that's not what this is about, it's about people acting like tom cruise isn't a pretty legit guy when it comes to getting things done, most actors are fakes and prima donnas, tom does dangerous totally unnecessary stunts for fun jackie chan probably wouldn't even do, he wanted to fly the damn f-18 in topgun, he pilots p51 mustangs and helicopters, he's a thrill chaser, people give him a hard time, but I doubt he'd pass up the opportunity to help even the most anti-scientology person out there, there's only one jackie chan but tom is a pretty special leading man when the most they do is steroids or lose 50lbs for a role

  12.  @danwhitaker5168  omg the intro song is atrocious, i just gotta state it, why that song?! my 73yo mom about lost her mind hearing that stupid song, loud and confusing, such a dumb choice, shoulda used a 60's tune anyway mum nailed it, last tango nailed it, rev. nailed it, after life nailed it, here we go nailed it..gavin and stacey nailed it but this show lacks, my 73yo mom wasn't entertained, it's spread too thin and is uncomfortable, it's like following around a boring or avg couple and not editing out the travel gaps between the interesting moments, it's not a slow burn but more like watching wall paint dry as if it's an oil painting, they're underutilized, there's real and then there's too real, too real shouldn't be on tv

  13. it's Brits doing American accents and I don't even think it's filmed in America, yes I'm American, I'm a fan of British comedy and the London series and am halfway through with the show and a bit annoyed, first episode rocked though, it has a couple dumb cameos of American actors..which is still annoying, that's what they've been doing since the virus, these weird cameos and short appearances on separate sets and skype calls, am I the only one annoyed by this?

  14. it's much deeper than that, they wanted to live forever basically, if the statue of you lives on then you live on, that's why they'd get their noses knocked off, because angry people wanted to prevent them from breathing, if it's a giant statue for all to see then yeah it's about being boastful, but in private..yeah there's no reason to have them just to boost your self-esteem haha, there's other ways to do that, unless they were constructed as a gift, that's possible, what do you get the pharaoh that has everything? well you could build a statue of him looking really cool, or even build him his own temple, the gifts would get bigger and grander as people tried to out-due one another and win favor, and the older a pharoah got the more god-like he was seen, so things got really crazy in terms of selling an image to build up your importance, look at the divas today, these singers are backed by such propaganda that they appear as demi-gods to sell records, heck they even have their own Egyptian-style music videos..but that's another topic

  15. I went camping once and the people near my had Daft Punk playing in their tent..I mean why the hell are you camping if that's what you're going to do? And one time I was camping and had the cops called on me for being too loud. HAHA. But there is a difference, loud nonstop music vs laughing around the campfire. Anyway, both situations were weird as hell.

  16. Well since my country pretty much destroyed the genre, it's pretty cool to see the UK is getting into it, even though I hate cover songs since it's really just karaoke. (the mainstream country music genre is dead to most people, it's a joke now, a shadow of itself and to hear good country music you have to search the independent labels for it) Yeah, I'm venting. So it's great to see people in the UK and elsewhere enjoying it. I loved that Gavin and Stacey episode...you know the one.

  20. it's probably because the bear has always been the biggest, tigers are loners so it's probably more interested in doing it's own thing, the lion was neutered early on or else it might be the boss since it was born to lead and protect a pride, but a lot of times you can smaller and physically weaker animals to run the show as long as they show dominance and get respect early on, if they weren't neutered things would be different I'm sure

Yeah I've seen Delocated and Heart She Hollar, along with the Neon Joe and Glaser Loves Gear...and all kinds of crazy stuff that seems like they were fever dreams today. I really like the British stuff. Been into that since I started watching maybe my favorite show "Peep Show". Those crazy Brits make quality-packed 6 episode seasons and they just let loose with the creativity and originality (Then the U.S. tries to replicate it and fails miserably). But yeah, I highly recommend two shows that are on here. One is called Other Space. Yahoo TV failed and it got screwed over (the first 2 episodes are on here). And a show called "Garth Merenghei's: Dark Place", phenomenal show (6 episodes on here). I really liked The It Crowd as well..and Snuff Box, Black Books, Spaced, Mitchell and Webb. Lots of great stuff. And that Aussie Chris Lilly did a show called Angry Boys and it's a MUST SEE.

I saw someone criticizing this show, well I mean this Tinseltown series (season 4?), saying it's different because of the American sense of humor, well it's mostly Brits playing Americans and I don't even think they're shooting it in America...so it's still written by Brits, right? Anyway, I'm American, I liked the London series and Berry and the first episode of this was great but as soon as he arrived in LA it got pretty bad. I mean it feels like a lot of 2020 shows where because of the virus they just threw popular actors in scenes for cameos or filmed their small parts on separate sets and phoned it in. Armisen playing nuts again was a misfire as well, but they did this a lot in 2020-2021. Hopefully the next couple episodes get better. And yes we Americans notice the fake accents. We notice the fake accents, you notice when a Brit actor is doing an American accent..so what's the point? Just something I always wonder. Doon is always great though..I'm just wondering what happened to her eye. Man I wish they'd make another season of Garth Merenghei.
