I wonder how many survived the crash but died shortly after..terrible, what a terrible airline, the jungle is tough..I mean the mosquitoes alone would be enough to drive a person insane after a single night, and somehow a jaguar or viper etc didn't get her..I'm guessing water wasn't a problem alone with no fire, no food, no mother, in the middle of a noisy animal filled graveyard, well imagine what your mind would be thinking

yeah it's just mind blowing what they pulled off

Yeah, Roar is just the most incredible film I've ever seen, but not because of the great writing or directing or acting or special effects. Haha, what happens on that set are things that are not supposed to happen on set. The way they act with the animals is not how you're supposed to act, ever..yet they survive making it! There's that scene where his hand is practically sliced in half because he decides to break up two male lions that are fighting...which is beyond insane to do. And of course the scene where Melanie Griffith is very nearly scalped by maybe the largest lioness I've ever seen..and there's nothing her mother can do about it but pull the lionesses tail.. But it's just such a miracle they pulled this film off..and that Tipi and everyone were so brainwashed (for lack of a better word) into being part of it. The guy had charisma and balls. I'll give him that. Tipi has a sanctuary for these animals and wrote a book about her love of and life with the animals. She also can't believe she was part of it and regrets it..she was under the guy's spell pretty much. This happens to the best of us I guess. Some people can do that to us. BUT, the film has some pretty awesome footage of big cats being awesome. The plot was as bad as modern day big cat CGI in movies now.
