Imagine being told to pilot that swordfish... The planes were too simple to break essentially, the more parts the more things that can go wrong. And 15 targets were so many that the gunners couldn't make up their minds on who to shoot. I mean think about it. It's like when a lioness gets surrounded by hyenas and can't decide which one to smack first. It spins in a circle and smacks none of them even though it can kill any single one of them if it were one on one. Or it's like when hunting. Large animals need to evade a kill shot in the main organs, but small animals can be slow and not get hit.
