  1. If the wheels were down, would the plane have landed safely? It's said there was a medical emergency..and that the transponder stopped working. Well I've read comments saying this. So what if the bird strike caused a situation where the Captain with an underlying heart condition went into cardiac arrest, (maybe they thought they'd been shot) the co-pilot takes over and due to loss of some systems he somehow doesn't notice wheels aren't down? Can you physically hear or feel when landing gear is down? I'm guessing you can even tell by the increased drag, but what if your instruments aren't working and there's no warning? Since they put their landing gear up after the birds strike, it looks as if they put their gear up and forgot it was up or when it didn't come back down they lacked the thrust to abort the landing. But then again I hear there's tons of warnings that don't allow you to forget and if landing gear isn't down then why even attempt a landing? Was a fire onboard, smoke-filled cabin? Alright, I'll shut up. I know nothing about planes, obviously.

Very hard to watch..it's like an execution the way it's lined up with that solid wall, I'm guessing the crew thought they were fired upon (like the recent plane crash)..and at the same time somehow all the hydraulics went out..for some reason, I mean a norwegian plane just experienced hydraulic failure, but maybe the cockpit crew became incapacitated because it actually hit a drone..and the batteries vaporized into their cabin's ventilation and a passenger tried to bring the plane down? I mean nothing makes sense. I hear a strike on that side would only affect the passenger's ventilation as the cockpit's in on the left side.. I guess they'd be alive if not for that wall..I mean this is like strapping yourself into the space shuttle and dying due to a piece of foam breaking off. It shouldn't be a death sentence if you lose landing gear.

  3. We might be very lucky in knowing the actual story that not only did 2 people survive but they're 2 crew members as well. They might have some very valuable information.
