  2. Imagine being prior military and trying to give shows like these a chance because you love space exploration and want to show Katee a little support. It's torture! BSG was great because like all great space films it had characters with military bearing etc and the ship was ran like what is essentially a Space Navy...but this show threw that and any realism out the window. Never have I seen a sci-fi show break so many rules. It's like it was created by kids that have never seen Aliens but have definitely seen one of those dime a dozen teen dramas...and just one because they're not very good at copying that style. Mean Girls in Space would have been better.

The Last Kingdom is a lot like Arrested Development in that the first 3 seasons are PHENOMENAL and give you everything you want..then Netflix takes over and it's all watered down and a shadow of itself. Still, I appreciate getting the additional story they gave me. The whole Athelstan storyline annoyed the ever-loving crap out of me. I must have flipped that kid off every time he opened his mouth. After EVERYTHING Uhtred has done for you, your father, your entire family and country OVER AND OVER...this is how to you treat him? Why, because you're dickmatized? To hell with history, just end that idiot already, for the good of humanity! The film was a little confusing at times but I'm not gonna delve too deep, it ended alright. "Vikings" had a great somewhat similar ending as well. At least TV shows have seemingly learned from Game of Thrones' EPIC mistake. Yep, never forgot GOT's colossal F-up. You know what's an amazing series though, start to finish? Spartacus. Spartacus and The Last Kingdom are two shows I anticipated each week probably more than any other, aside from The Sopranos, of course. Rome was a great series not many ever mention. The Netflix film, The King was pretty good as well..surprising for a Netflix film. The Last Duel is good. The Northman was dogsht. Hey, I'm just putting it out there..sword flicks.

  14. daniel's accent is so over the top silly..but it works, my only real complaints are that unnecessary accent of the twin sister and that conversation lasting way too long, two fake accents lasting that long is hard to handle, her acting is good enough to not even need it and that when someone drops from choking or gunshot..I mean is it too much to ask for the character next to him to do cpr or run away scared? lots of interesting things in this film so it's just weird that they do some easy things so awfully, yeah you want to keep it light I guess but come on now, keep it realistic bautista needs more serious roles, he's a like a Rock that has depth, the rock is a cartoon character, not bautista, kate still looks amazing, wow

  16. Well I made it to episode 2...I'm working on episode 2 right now. I loved BSG, love space films and shows, seen a ton, even liked a few Orville episodes..but this is very strange. I mean the crew is basically a bunch of bitter millennials, all demographics are far too conveniently represented and there's zero military bearing or organization which I just can't stand and find hard to accept. Why can't we just get another season of Dark Matter? Can you please pick up season 2 of The First or season 2 of Other Space? I'm ONLY watching this for Sackhoff. Random thought: I wish Jimmy would return to Shameless. So far the best thing about this series is that one idiot is dead, but man do I hate when to push a storyline they decide to leave out dialogue that a character would let be down. I mean "hey so n so died, but I'm not a murderer, it was self defense". Yeah let's leave out the "self defense" part so that everyone takes you the wrong was and we get extra episodes of drama and tension etc. It's such weak writing. Unreal. Yeah I'm being vague to not spoil it. Oh how I miss IMDB forums. Anywayyyyy, I'll continue to watch some more, but if I see anymore women saving the day because of a toxic male, then I'm done. I just had to vent some. I'll be back

  21. no they only put the craziest people they can find on tv now, same with 90 day fiance, or any other reality show, and if they aren't being crazy enough they'll make them go crazy and encourage it, and sadly generations of people all over the world will watch this and start emulating these crazy people until we're all crazy and crazy is the new norm...I mean I'm just being real here, reality tv has ruined society

Worst show ever made..and I like Katee. Netflix shoulda saved Dark Matter or Firefly or Other Space or Defying Gravity..anything else.

  28. @Angel R Some shows you may like: The First, Defying Gravity..they're not great, but have some likable qualities, Tricia Helfer's miniseries was neat too, Ascension. I was trying to get into Nageo's "Mars", but it's just not what I wanted either. The First could have been great, but it was cancelled. sad

I'm certain they pick people based on how much drama they can stir and who they can help drag across the finish line, rather than who's best for the experiment, it's netflix, all their shows have an agenda, heck shows like this have plants, they'll plant their person in there as a contestant to steer the show the direction they want

  45. TERRIBLE SHOW. That female duo totally F'd up the show and spoiler alert, it's fantastic that the cheaters lost. That being said, I'm pretty certain they scripted the hell out of this show and Netflix..well that's Netflix for ya. Oh and they of course HAD to have nearly every woman on here telling me each episode how terrible men are. Yeah, that's always fun to see...buncha sexists. It goes both ways. That squirrely little simp Jill way playing was pretty funny. Anyway, watch Alone.
