  1. just so people understand, you need DOUBLE hearing protection around a jet, earplugs and hands over your ears do absolutely nothing, haha, and they'll easily blast you off the flight deck, respect to all those skittles up there but yeah, fighter pilots are the coolest.. most people never have a single ounce of thought about flying, then there's people who want to fly fighter jets, it's just strange, strange that there's people who want to do certain jobs like flying or directing air traffic or working the high lines, but I'm very thankful these people exist I used to watch the Tomcats from the flight deck, good times, those mfr's were loud, twin engine with those switch sweeping wings..one of the biggest, loudest, fastest ever, if anyone wants to see some badass tomcat footage, watch "Fighter Fling" on here
