  2. What's an America look like with EV's in 20 years? Imagine the lines to charging them, charging them late at night by yourself..imagine having to replace the battery, imagine replacing all these vehicles after floods and hurricanes, imagine driving one in an area where there's blizzards, imagine an already struggling power grid powering these vehicles especially during a disaster, imagine having to put the fires out when these things catch fire, imagine the mining and recycling..and what about solar storms or EMP's.. What is more dependable when you need food and water, gas or electric? What problems do these vehicles actually solve? They have their place in some areas and for some people, but let's not be crazy. This EV fad is not one we should put all our eggs in. It is not the cure we're looking for!!
