@markgarcia5845 yeah many are also having mobility problems at that point as well and sadly it leads to a fall, mobility problems would include things like dementia, but I can imagine that because Russia is so cold that less people are getting exercise and keeping those sidewalks and streets in shape to walk on, well there's a lot of mud as well, seems all hazardous, osteoperosis is probably a big problem there because of the lack of exercise and smoking and drinking which contribute to it, I've noticed a lot of Russians drink and smoke
I think with the hip it's just something that's really hard to recover from, it's such a large area and older people are slow at recovering from injuries, the bone takes long to recover and then gaining mobility back takes even longer, so you're lying there for so long you probably just give up, I haven't looked into it that much but it's scary stuff, especially when you see an 80 year old president falling
