  20. Trump signed the directive in December. I say we give NASA the same amount of time JFK gave them to get to the Moon and if man isn't back on the Moon then we never got a man there in the first place. If a young space program in the 60's can get men to the moon 6 times with only one hiccup (Apollo 13) then 50 years later we damn sure should be able to get humans to the Moon. Back in the day it cost a ton, but today it should be much cheaper, especially with other companies helping out and keeping it competitive. So let's say from the time JFK gave his famous speech to the time Armstrong said his famous words..that's 6 years, 10 months, 8 days. So that gives us a date of 18 October 2024. Let's say 2025 there's either a man back on the Moon, or there never was a man on the moon. I think that's fair. That's 52 years to put man back on the Moon, 59 years since Kennedy's speech! If humans don't set foot on the Moon again after 52 years then it's completely understandable to start questioning the Apollo program at that point. How much of a technical leap has been made since then? Back when color tv's and computer games and 8 tracks were new, computers were the size of closets and cost 180k, muscle cars ruled, the Top Gun program had started up and guys were being drafted. Now a phone the size of a pack of cigarettes is a computer-camera-gps-encyclopedia all in one, tv's are in 3D, you can fit 5million songs on a hard drive the size of a small book and send it through the air, cars can travel 600 miles on electricity and smoke any muscle car of that time. From pre-Pong and Atari to VR...

  38. Yeah I'm all about recycling and replanting and creating less pollution etc, but these people that think humans have the power to destroy the Earth are fkn delusional. Humans really have no reason to be here. An animal goes extinct and it can have a huge negative impact, but if humans go extinct then there is no negative impact...hell it's a positive impact. Other than stopping the Earth from being destroyed by an asteroid, we have no reason to be here. That would have to be our purpose. We have no place on the food chain. But yeah every time there's a meltdown or oil spill or whatever, people act like the Earth won't recover. Yeah we can wipe away a species and that can be really sad, but mother nature still holds the power. Hurricanes still kick our asses, we're still susceptible to droughts, we still can't prevent much of the forests from being destroyed by fires and pine beetles etc. Whatever the Sun wants to give, the Earth gets and we try to make the best of it. Everything we do is temporary. This current way we're living is temporary. It's all an experiment. It's only like a hundred or so years old. This way of living won't last much longer. Our future is India and China, overpopulation and pollution, and eventually they'll need food and water and we'll fight to keep it until there's a collapse and the numbers get culled back again and start living like we did in the old days before a couple discoveries and inventions like petroleum allowed us to grow weak. Yeah I'm rambling again. EDIT: Somebody replied to me but I can't find their reply on here, nor can I even read the entire reply because youtube is being an asshole I guess and fuckery is afoot. But it's probably just another asshole replying to me in a way to piss me off, so fuck it. Have a great life. Yeah I should just delete this and save the headache but I was up late typing this jibber-jabber one night and just don't have it in me yet. Luckily it all just looks like one blob of a run-on sentence so I doubt anyone else will even read it and bother me again though...bla bla bla why do I even leave posts on Youtube anyway? I mean, nothing really matters and I'll be having to reply to these damn posts for the rest of my life unless Youtube one day decides to purge them. Don't answer that. Hug a tree, burn a tree, plant a tree, build with a tree, the world is yours to play with.
