  1. Having been in two events myself, LA Riots after Rodney King and the Loma Prieta Earthquake of 1989... You can't count on the police or fire to be there to help you in a big emergency and the National Guard will take days to mobilize once the Governor makes the call. It's like the Walking Dead and everything goes when the system breaks down like in New Orleans.
