I keep hearing risking their lives and on the other hand, I hear officer's firing their weapon because they feared for their lives when later it was shown there was no threat... We all risk our lives in daily activities and even when loaded weapons are aimed at us during traffic stops. We risk serving in the military or operating heavy equipment. It's when you don't accept the risk that it's time to find a safer occupation. Abusing citizens in custody is against the law... Police don't get to give arrested the Keystone Cops Paddy Wagon treatment so they look "pretty" for their mugshots. Then hide behind qualified immunity when they get caught.

  2. No one is above the Law...NO ONE. It's even more of a bad look when the union is trying to interfere with the legal process to get someone fired. How about they set the example and shut up and let the system decide instead of this public tantrum. After the arrest of Garcia in Scottsdale Arizona over a false Hit n Run charge and other questionable acts by officers across the nation like the Canton officer cleared after firing blindly through a wooden fence on New Year's Day killing James Williams without announcing themselves or identifying a target. There could have been kids and whole families behind that fence. You don't even do that in a combat theater because of friendly fire and civilian collateral damage Qualified immunity needs to be repealed or at least toned down.
