  1. Conspiracies are easy to accept when negligence is in play. The boat left them. A SATCOM phone or emergency GPS beacon should be a required in these type of emergencies. I bet that owner started a new diving company under a different name. Reminds me of a Marine being forgotten in the desert during a training exercise. In 1988, Jason Rother was a 19-year-old United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal who was abandoned in the harsh Mojave Desert with no water and died. They forgot to pick him up. He walked 17 miles in 100°F temp but died just 2 mile from the base.
