  1. The greatest mistake made when minimum wage is increased is rent control. Without it, it’s just a cycle giving the okay for landlords to raise rates because everything costs more. People use most of their money to pay rent. I lived in California for nearly 40 years and worked a second night job as a fast food manager. When I started, it was $3.30/ hour and now doing the same job is as much as my electronic technician job with benefits! In fact, I would joke that my raises come from the state since I didn’t get raises from the food chain. Happy New Year🎉

  2. I left California after 40 years when I hit 20 years for retirement. U-Haul is making a fortune too charging three times more for those going out than those going into the same destination. It cost me $7,000 plus fuel and insurance for a small truck to move one bedroom in 2020. It's not like it was in the 1980s in Silicon Valley or San Diego Then, it was clean and sunny and fun. Now, it's dirty like New York City with stupid people in charge and high rent that gets higher with every minimum wage increase. $7/gal gas at the time I left. It's sad but the state is becoming a dystopia.

  3. For years Target has been treating their “Guests” like children. I remember doing a repair on a PC and needed an air duster can. When I went to check out, they wanted my driver’s license. Maybe for age until they swiped it into the register. I knew about the data breaches and asked what that was all about. They track spray paint, WD-40, cough syrup etc to keep people from doing drugs. 😳 Just following polices… It was the last time I bought any item requiring ID from the store. Next door was Home Depot that sold all the items without having my ID in a data base to be hacked. Target gets what they deserve. 🤡
