  1. 3:35 Are you explaining the function of a transistor or a Field Effect Transistor?  A transistor doesn't have a gate, but a FET does.  Transistors have emitter, base, and collectors.  FET's have source, gate, and drain.  Transistors are current based operations.  FET's are voltage based operations.
