  1. Most scammers are based in Toronto Canada targeting the Midwest states. They pretend to be bill collectors, government, or legal with a bill or fine to be paid. It's all fake. I just had issues with Northeast Collection Recovery calling about a bill for $1800 from Citi corp. I just did an audit of my credit so I knew it was fake. File complaint with Ohio AG and FTC and block the numbers. Ban Facebook Marketplace related to big ticket items and retail properties. Like Craigslist...no good will come from it.
