  1. If I was the French store owner and I bought it for $197 but I wasn’t sure…this is what I would do. Place it in consignment with the dealer acting as an agent. If it sold for multimillions of dollars, I would go to the couple and give them 70% and keep a $1 Million as finders fee and processing etc. Still be ahead on the deal. As it stands now, you could retire on that one sale.
