  1. Increased wages is nearly as much as what a trained tech makes making everyone ask for more money. To stop or slow the cycle, you need rent control along with minimum wage increases. Otherwise, it’s a never ending circle.

  2. I’ve notice it in the US Midwest. I had the McDonald’s app for years since I was in San Diego with over 70,000 pts for free food and only spent them when they are about to expire. I now have only 6,000 points. Add to this is mediocre quality food quality and service. I use to have plenty of deals so no point using points since I can only use one or the other and not together. Food quality has taken a hit when they aren’t made right or seasoned. Worse if they are old. Service is up and down with speed and courtesy being a factor especially at night. I had food shoved at me without a word and the people employed are mentally disabled with slurred speech on drive thru. It’s a feel good inclusivity program. Regardless, customers not knowing will take this as rudeness and it’s bad service. I’ve work fast foods at one chain for 30 years as a second job before leaving the state and the wage increases. I see both sides and something needs to change or fast foods will crash as an industry. Add high prices and this is no longer a cheap option for me on the go. 😢 I’ll just each chili out the can like I did in the military. 🇺🇸
