  1. I don't like William Shockley because he was talking time off when the discovery happened. And came up with an improvement to wedge his name in history with the Shockley transistor. He was heavily into racist eugenics projects and believed in the bell curve. Your race determines your maximum IQ. Bardeen and Brattain are the true discovers. Shockley just ran the project.
