  1. Somehow, I feel this isn't the complete picture showing all the variables.  For example, I haven't heard anything about war or casualties due to climate change related events. The number of wars going on in the world especially Africa must be putting a dent in the population.  It will have to be technology to saves the day.  Agriculture takes lots of water to grow things and GMO will be needed.  Technology will also have to protect what's grown less we have a Red Dawn scenario for resources.  Some countries like India and China are simply too big for their own good. They will need to be broken down into smaller regions in order to better manage their needs and pass legislation for population and environmental controls.
