  1. I’m in that camp. I just thought it was a stock image. Everyone was using it and was license free. Never knew where it came from since it was made before the internet took off. I bet every image has a story behind it.

  3. 28:28 Some of the stories are true but that was more about attitudes, fads, and slang of the time than any one section. SNL of the 70s and movies like Animal House shows the edgy raunchiness of the times. People were more impressionable then with no internet or cellphones to calibrate their moral compass. Naked women on desktop…never seen it myself and if I did would cringe even then. I think people are afraid that banning this one image will lead to more things being banned then leading to people being black listed like cancel culture. Give an inch, take a mile.

  4. I think more importantly that the model isn’t getting anything for each use of her image. Why fixate on banning this one particular image is puzzling… I find it nostalgic because of the fashions of the time I lived in. If the model wants it retired that’s fine but she did voluntarily pose for Playboy. Can’t undo that.
