  1. This is how diversity should be done. Don’t change an existing character and make them a minority. Franklin is his own person. As a Black kid growing up we would jokingly call Franklin a token black character because he was the only one we ever seen in the comics. Now, in my 60s and knowing the back story (no internet in our days, kids) I can only thank Mr Schulz for sticking to his guns. 🙂

  6. Considering the number of rocket boosters and lost cargo and weapons ordnance dumped in the ocean - straws seems very insignificant. A SpaceX booster that isn’t going to be recovered is 80 ft tall and 4 ft in diameter yet people want to banned straws. Plastic bags not enough...I walk everywhere I go and haven’t owned a car since 1985. I would say my carbon footprint is tiny. Now, I have to carry canvas bags everywhere I go incase I need to are an unplanned stop. Oh, and one the plastic bags, they’re still there just that you have to put down a dime for each one. Sounds like a sneaky way to pass charges off. The bags rarely last more than two uses. Finally, homeless people used the plastic bags as portable toilets. Now, they dump where ever they can get a some privacy. This is creating a health issue in with human waste. I recycled my bags for use as doggie poop bags. I buy plastic straws and I try to reuse them until they don’t work anymore. Great job environmentalists. How about think thinks all the way through before coming up with the next ban.
