  1. 3:14 They said that about the space shuttle. But no new spacescrafts were being developed until after the shuttle retirement. NASA had at least 25 years to create a new spacecraft but did nothing. ISS did not go up all at once but in modular pieces. ISS can stay up indefinitely if NASA would retire and deorbit the old component and add new ones so it’s constantly being renewed. Only the recent Russian component was built and added.
