  1. As I’ve mentioned in another post this was a thing even in my day growing up in the 1970s. As a Black kid, you just have to expect that out of nowhere when it happens. It can be crushing for a kid meeting their idols. Even Santa and the Waster Bunny are not immune. Why I don’t go ga-ga over celebs and politicians because they always seem to disappoint...
