  1. It’s time for Apple to come up with a lite version of iOS. Many users are happy with a simple iPhone doing the basics and don’t need the add “features” justifying a new $1000 phone. I have an iPad Mini 2 that still works stuck on iOS 12. It can’t run many apps but does do Kindle and Good Reader as well as web browsing. I can only view Youtube in browser since the app is no longer working. Sooner or later Apple will need to make an iOS with modular features. EU can force Apple’s hand to reduce eWaste. Apple’s business model of new phones every year is over.

  3. Will it bend... Seriously, a thin iPad is going come at the cost of reduce battery life, excess heat, and repair issues. There is such a thing as being too thin. Apple is running out of ideas... They can't even make colorful iPad Pro models. My iPad Pro with the M1 chip is doing fine as well as my much older iPad Mini 2 used for reading PDF on Good Reader app and Kindle. Yes, both apps are still supported on iOS 12.5.7 🙂 iPad Mini 2 fits perfectly in my one piece jump suit for work.

  4. It's DOA... Two hours battery life being the least of your worries. Prescription inserts for those with glasses is another. I'm super sceptical about the whole thing. What's to stop Meta from copying Apple if they really did do it?

  5. No Mini iPads….disappointed. I have a Pencil 2nd Gen but rarely use it. Done buying Pencils. Problem solved. Apple is targeting content creators and artists with iPads and it’s leaving the rest of us on the sidelines. iPad Pro 11” is all we need. I have an M1 iPad Pro and would never consider a 13” or the film cut app. Hover features and new Pencil are just for artists. Catering to 20% of the market. Apple needs to realize there’s more than musicians and artists buying iPads. Maybe 6 months from now when Apple streamline their mess.

  6. Like Halo Star Wars, Star Trek, Funko Pops, and Comics channels. If the companies are messing up their brands, it leads to fan channels crashing. Apple keeps pushing thin over function and forcing everyone to only buy their stuff like Visual Pro power banks. 😮

  9. I think the iPad 10 should be dropped and the iPad 9 kept with the Home Button because of Accessibility. Not everyone can handle and touch the power button due disabities but can touch the Home button. Also, I don't like the iOS interaction prompting users to tap the corner for downloads. (Really a button push) It's time to strip iOS of it's bloated features few users care about or use.

  10. iPad Pro and Basic but no Air.... Doing away with Home button and a $50 (US) price increase. Basic closer to iPad Air... Different colors isn’t a feature. Companies do this with products when they don’t have much. Got to wait for Amazon Prime deals to get last gen models. RIP iPad Home Button...another legacy of Steve Jobs...dust in the wind....

  12. Less bloated iOS with a Pro version and a Lite version for older devices and to get rid of features few are actually going to use like meeting and colab apps. Cut the number of gestures too and put widgets on a side panel out the way.

  13. Bit annoyed with Apple and their lack of communicating. Holidays are essentially here with Prime Day Deals that ended yesterday. Many like myself had to skip deals because of these rumors. If it’s a simple refresh there no need for secrecy. It’s getting old if no event and just a release. iPhone owners don’t have this problem. I have an ancient iPad Mini 2 for work with software issues that I can now upgrade and this happens. Software issues caused by Apple after update 12.5.6...🙄

  14. Looking for a rugged phone to replace my Kyocera phone. I thought this phone was a China ripoff. Way too think for my use...walkie talkie size. I'll stick to Kyocera... Just wish it's performance speed was a little better.

  15. The Home button is iPad’s identity like the iPod wheel. From a distance you instantly know it’s an iPad. It’s also one of the lasting legacies of Steve Jobs. I’m still using an ancient iPad Mini 2 for work and upgrading to a new iPad as soon as these rumors are put to bed over October event. 🙄 I prefer the Home button for accessibility but also because of habit since using iPads since launch day 2010. 😊

  16. 10:52 That’s how I watch YouTube… I watch 90% of my Youtube content on my big screen TV. Going to a Subscriptions doesn’t show what I want first. It’s a mess from every channel mixed together. On the road, I set it to Autoplay after selecting the first content. I thought this will tell the algorithm this is the subject I want to listen to while driving. Only, I plays two videos, then gets stuck on a random channel playing many videos on say Lex Friedman or all Phil Defranco stuff when I keep telling it to skip. I’m busy driving and can’t look down at the screen with the tiny controls to que or select something else. I can see accidents being caused by this glitch. 😮 Watch ladies t help because much of it is classes requiring me to watch the screen.

  18. Apple has gone right back to making things complicated with feature creep and indistinguishable iPad models. Outrated iPads have become props for online scams. Only the software can tell you what you really have. Apple needs to trim the lineup and simplify iPadOS because it's a bloated mess right now with some features only a few will actually find useful.

  19. As reported on other channels, Threads is only available to US on the app. It's tied to your Instagram account so deleting yourr Thread account won't get rid of it. You also have to delete your Instagram account. Also, it's asking for lots of data and access priveleges. For a simple app this is typical of Facebook. I could care less about social "anything." It's made us dumber as a society with attenttion seeking kids doing everything crazy for Views and Likes. Let Facebook become the headquarters of the radical cancel culture mob. They'll have to pay more fines to the government.

  24. There's battery life and recharge cycles. Putting all your work on an iPhone (even a powerful one) is going to lead to a short life for the device. iPads have a larger battery and can last much longer.
