  1. A lot of the Man of Steel myths use to be true but from about the 1980s the writing changed his directive. Just like “Truth, Justice, and the American way.” or that Superman can’t tell a lie. At the time, Superman set the example for kids to look up to as campy as it sounds. My generation’s Superman doesn’t kill and definitely doesn’t break necks.
