  1.  @David-yo5ws  Capacitors come in so many forms. Capacitors generally store energy from an outside source and then release it. I was thinking of a type plastic semiconductor or a yet to be discovered compound. That can store the energy without electrolyte "cans". If there was only a way for the capacitor generate the energy and store internally. No electrolytes but this concept may not be possible with current technology if at all possible. Likely violates the Conservation Laws... Good thought exercise...

  3. To me, a True Solid State Battery is like a capacitor that that provides energy but there’s no power source charging it. It’s all coming from the device. Even if it’s possible, there’s a number of factors that will need to be addressed before it goes on sale to the Public. For example, performance and recharge cycles, capacity, end of life disposal, cost of materials etc. If only we could have an Iron Man Arc Reactor…daydreaming….
