  1. 8:43 Yes, Secret Wars is a mess but this criticism scene of Fury was very harsh. It was harsh on a generation level and even a cultural level if you live in the UK. I care because I lived in those times of segregation in the US and you had limited options when traveling. This scene establishes a time for Fury of simpler times before aliens and Thanos and mutants where discrimination was about the color shade of your skin. Even in those times there can be good memories to be had. Further, this scene shows Fury still wants to protect the US and the world regardless of the discrimination he experienced as a child. You can’t say that with millennials today that would rather kneel and disrespect the flag. There flag is the Pride flag of cancelling people and gender bending kids before they are ready. Yes
