  1. It seems there's some PC tap dancing around transgender and transracial in the vid.   Is it the same or different? Either way people are going to be really mad about it.   A passionate field researcher can live with an isolated Amazon tribe, learn their language and their ways and even become a member of the tribe but that researcher's race is still the one their born with.   Because of foreign up-bring, the researcher may inadvertently bring outside influences to the tribe, no matter the intent, changing their culture. This is why transracial is bad. It will lead to culture damage.

  2. No, not segregation. If operating with a true background, in the open, it's okay. We know where she's coming from. As for the Amazon researcher example, the French guards their language from English influences and some countries limit overseas visits in fear of the repatriated citizen may bring bad influences for overseas. (Japan). It's like ordering a hamburger at a Japanese restaurant.  There's no right answer here, but manipulation of a group from the inside, without their knowledge or awareness is dangerous. A wolf in sheep's clothing comes to mind like the Emperor in Star Wars.  Rachel was head of a civil rights organization and can pick and choose the direction and battles the NAACP chapter would face. It may not necessarily be in their best interest.
