  1. ​ @BaltimoreAndOhioRR 2008 was a very different set of circumstances though. Obama actually had a lot of charisma and charm that Kamala simply does not, plus he was also benefitting from the dumpster fire that had been Dubya's 2nd term and an economy that was perceived to be failing (plus let's be real, John McCain was an absolutely atrocious opponent to run against him). 2024 is not like 2008 in any meaningful way whatsoever.

  3. ​​ @semineil Well, truth be told, you could argue that would be the case no matter who wins this election (especially since I truly believe we're getting to a point now where Civil War is inevitable at any point following the election with how divided we are as a country and how deep those divisions are), it's really just more so a matter of A) who could delay the seemingly inevitable disaster for longer and B) what flavor of "death" do you want America to go down? One taken by the hands of the people fighting off the Marxists, or one where the Marxists finally reach their full strength and power and have us all under their boot with no hope of saving? The patriots of course will choose the former, while the America hating weirdos and freaks would want the latter.

  4. I understand that mindset but keep in mind we'll suffer also. Furthermore with the border undoubtedly going to be flung wide open with Harris in charge and them importing even more third worlders, it'd be hard to imagine Republicans ever winning ANYTHING again if we somehow "lose" in 2024.

  7. I agree, but her chances of winning are extremely slim still and I think Kamala is a clear sacrificial lamb. A lot of the current hype she is getting right now is just Democrats making noise now that they're happy Biden is gone.

Not to get too overconfident or cocky (and I certainly don't want to encourage complacency), but I still think Trump is absolutely the strong favorite here. Much of the current "hype" Kamala is getting is only just based around the fact that she's the "new" Dem candidate and the excitement that she's replacing Biden, as well as the fact that the chaotic DNC or even the really serious campaigning still hasn't happened yet. Once people actually see Kamala on the campaign trail and especially when Trump mops the floor with her the same way he did Biden in their one and only debate, she's done for.

  11. Yep. Even her own party hates her. They just have to pretend to like her because they don't want her to realize she's a sacrificial lamb and because they don't want to make it obvious to the black and Hispanic communities what we already know: they're using them as pawns for their vote.
