  9.  @joeearwood4398  I've seen comments like yours over and over again and they get proven wrong time and time again. That's my point. People thought Steve Daines would lose to Steve Bullock in MT. Then he won by 10. People also thought the snake, swampy wishy-washy Lindsey Graham was done that same year and that he'd lost to Jamie Harrison; then he also won by 10. Then there were those who thought that Kansas was going to elect Democrat Barbara Bollier, and then she got crushed by 13. And of course in KY itself several political commentators were optimistic about McGrath's chances against McConnell, and then she ended up losing by the 2nd biggest landslide of all of McConnell's opponents. And that's just all in 2020, I could easily go back to 2018 and 2016 to give you more examples. The bottom line is that the Dems are always going to throw lots of money at unwinnable races because they're foolish and naive and also because they want to scare us (Republicans are just as guilty as well- just look at Kim Klacik and Joe Collins, who of course were also later proven grifters- so this is by no means a partisan issue). And then the election mafia on Twitter buys it every time and either gets unreasonably scared (if they're on the right) or gains a bunch of false hope (if they're on the right). And whilst I certainly think there definitely IS a possibility for a sleeper flip in 2022 of a DEMOCRAT held seat with how badly things are getting for them, we should not falsely assume certain races are competitive when they aren't and then waste a bunch of money that could be given to ACTUAL competitive races.
