Don't get complacent folks. Steve Bullock, the popular governor from Montana, just entered the Senate race for that state (meaning the chances of Dems taking back the Senate from us this year just got greater), and the stock market has plunged a LOT over the past week; and like it or not, people tend to blame the incumbent president in power when that happens! If you want to see Trump win, get out there and vote for him, period. We CANNOT get so overconfident!

@TiaraStarbrighter Obama actually did worse than John Kerry did with whites in 2012. It's just that black turnout was much higher that year compared to 2004 (gee, I wonder why...), and that's why his ass got saved that year (as well as the fact that the GOP nominee was easily the worst candidate they could've put up against him aside from a John McCain rematch).

LOL! I can only imagine how pissed everyone on the Dem side would be if that happened ;)

We came to this through decades of division and corruption. Our founding fathers would be horrified if they learned that someone like Biden or Sanders was just a couple steps away from the white house!

@1COMODIN9 I mean fuck, when the standard for "moderate" these days is not being a full-blown communist, that makes almost literally ANY politican look "moderate".

@chukwuemekaanyimukwu7312 Why is it that people like you are so quick to shame and shit on black folks when they come out as a conservative and claim they're a "traitor to their race", yet for some reason have a hard time believing that a white person could hate themselves?

Frostmourne The way I see it is, if the left is allowed to use our words and tactics against us (such as accusing us of being "unpatriotic" when we know damn well that these leftists would cheer and clap if this country was nuked), then we should be allowed to use their words and tactics against them. Politics is a two-way street, and all that matters is who gets the last punch.

It'll really be a sad one though. Biden is so far gone and so demented that it is gonna be painful to see him on the campaign trail. This election will do little more than serve as a reminder of how broken American politics have become.

@Be Kind To Yourself LOL, in a way you are kind of right! But I mainly chose this pic just because I thought it looked cool. After all, libtards probably do assist in giving Luigi his depression!
1
@Be Kind To Yourself I haven't yet. I'll get around to it eventually however.

@cleanerben9636 And funny enough, even this leftist article clearly points out quite succiently why Biden can't win. Should he be the nominee, expect a lot of Bernie fans to cast a protest vote for Trump! https://www.currentaffairs.org/2020/03/democrats-you-really-do-not-want-to-nominate-joe-biden

@rafaelkoch7526 Biden would very much be a do-nothing president. His mental capacity just would not be able to carry him through the job. Even if he doesn't pick Hillary as VP, I'd still give him a less than 50% chance of even surviving the first half of his term, let alone his full term. Hence why it's important to pay attention to his VP pick. Whoever it ends up being, they'd very much be the real opponent against Trump.

@rafaelkoch7526 Pretty much

Jyygylag Not that I think Bernie would actually beat Trump, but it's worth pointing out that the reason why he received less votes than Trump in California is because Trump is basically running unopposed (yeah sure there's Weld, but almost no one in hell would ever vote for him against the incumbent Trump), where as Bernie on Super Tuesday had at least 4 other primary opponents, including Warren whose platform was very similar to his. Therefore, using exact vote totals in a primary as a measure of who is gonna win is not exactly a very smart move. Just as a much smaller but still relatively recent example, in my state, Adam Laxalt got more votes than Steve Sisocuck did in his primary compared to Steve's, but Sisolak still unfortunately beat him in the general election. All that matters in the end is who turns out on election day.

*In my state's gubernatorial election

Jyygylag Yes, but Dem turnout is also exceeding 2008 levels in a couple places. And regardless of the numbers in the primaries, the fact remains is that voter turnout in the general election is all that will end up mattering. Like I and several others have said, don't get too cozy. Getting complacent is part of the reason Hillary lost in 2016, and it very well could happen to us as well if we partake in the same attitude. With the Senate now at risk as well with Steve Bullock running, the most important thing for Republicans to do is get out there and vote, vote, VOTE!
1
Exactly. That's the main thing, it doesn't matter whether or not the slugging economy is Trump's fault or not. Most voters won't care, because all they'll see is that it's happening under his presidency, and they'll thus vote him out. It's the same way Obama was able to rise to power. I'm sure he would've beaten war hawk RINO John McStain no matter what, but the fact that a recession occured under the last 2 months of Bush's presidency made that result a lot more dominant than it otherwise would've been.

I thought the left told me that Trump was orange!

"He'll get a large percentage of the white vote" Highly doubt that. At best he may just tie Hillary's 2016 performance with whites.
