  1. Amen to that. The UK is great at reminding us that, regardless of how bad and hopeless things seem here in the U.S., things can still ALWAYS be worse.

Lest we forget, just 5 years ago in the UK, the Labour Party got absolutely decimated even in many places where they historically won easily, and then 11 months later Biden "won" the presidency thanks to a certain coof scam. Politics abroad often doesn't really tell us much about the U.S. And if anything the sentiment that led to the Tories losing, that being scandal and the fact that they failed to deliver on their promises, is very similar to what many Americans are feeling about Biden.
