And BTW, Trump retruthed someone on Truth Social who promoted Vivek and Tucker as VP picks. So clearly he's giving much more thought to them than he is of Haley. But of course, desperate failing campaigns will always try and do anything to convince you they were the right choice all along!

And if you need further evidence of this, Trump on Truth Social "retruthed" someone who was promoting Tucker and Vivek as VP choices.

No he's not, and I don't believe for a second he's even legitimately considering it. FFS, the dude has literally insulted Haley on NUMEROUS occasions and Trump himself has stated that no one who's been in these clown show GOP debates is VP material. This is clearly nothing more than a psyop from the desperate failing DeFailure campaign to try and make a last ditch effort to try and salvage his chances in the primary and by extension the general election. It won't work because smart people can see right through it!

I don't get why so many people think Paul has any shot at being the VP pick or even that he's a viable option. Look, I like the guy and all, he's one of the very few senators who I think aren't just worthless pieces of crap, but Paul doesn't really have any particular unique appeal with anyone aside from hardcore Libertarians (nearly all of whom would vote for the LP regardless no matter what, and even of those who wouldn't nearly all of them are solidly Republican anyway) so he wouldn't add much to the ticket, and on top of that there's a massive risk he could be replaced by someone who's a Mitch McConnell 2.0. I'd rather just keep Rand where he is.

He basically already has done so. He pretty much shut down any rumor of anyone in the GOP primary field besides him being considered for VP back in August.

@kennysdead500 He won't, don't fall for the lies and fearmongering. This is just a clearly desperate last second move by DeSantis because his campaign's all but over and he knows it. How funny and coincidental is it BTW that this story breaks out the moment it comes out that "Never Back Down" is, ironically, backing down?

Trump's not picking Haley at all, stop falling for the nonsense guys. The dude's insulted her on numerous occasions and has clearly stated that no one in the GOP debates is even worthy of being his running mate. This is nothing more than a desperate move by the failing DeSantis campaign to try and make a last minute effort to revive it. Don't fall for it!

Amazing how quickly so many people in this comments section are falling for this nonsense despite the fact that Trump has denounced Haley on NUMEROUS occasions and even flat out said that no one currently running against him is even in his VP watchlist. Not to mention the convenient timing... Just a day after it is revealed that Ron's campaign is basically almost all but done, a story of Trump supposedly planning on betraying his base comes out! Almost as if though Ron's just desperate for any sort of last second momentum...

That's absolute BS. While it is true that yes, there are some idiots out there pushing for leftist lunatic RFK Jr. simply because they have nostalgia for his daddy and uncle (who he's nothing like) and his anti-forced vax position, the idea that Trump supporters on the whole would support him even if he picked someone like Hillary or Newsom is hogwash. It's not that Trump supporters can't ever possibly turn against him, it's that his "opponents" keep giving us more and more reasons to support him and to date they've failed to show us someone better. I would've happily moved on from Trump if there was a better option to pick from (and also if the 2020 election were legitimate- assuming that means Trump won he couldn't have run again anyway of course, but still), but nobody who's running can hold a candle to Trump.

Well then it's a good thing it's not happening. This is nothing more than a psyop from the desperate DeSantis campaign because they know they've got no shot at winning and are desperate to do anything they can to either somehow gain last millisecond momentum, or undermine Trump in the general election. It's a shame so many people are blindly falling for it.

Yeah, Noem's not ideal, but I think she's the most likely choice sadly.

@williamcronshaw5262 Then how come so many conservatives seem to be falling for this and a few are even declaring they won't vote for Trump now? I agree that Trump shouldn't just get anyone's vote no matter what he does, but at the same time I think it's also important to dispel BS myths and call out clear and obvious desperate campaign tactics when they appear. I for one won't believe for even a fraction of a second that Haley is even on Trump's VP radar until we actually hear even the slightest mumblings about it from the man himself.
