  1. Hell, if he had made a move to stop this BS prosecution from happening, DeSantis very well could've made a more convincing case for choosing him in 2024 just on that fact alone. At that point he may have been able to make an argument of "I like Trump and think he was a great president; but here's why I would be even better and more polished" and have it been more convincing. But after this I think he not only destroyed his chances in 2024, he very well may have ended his whole political career. No diehard Trump fan is gonna forget these remarks.

Clearly you missed the snide remark DeSantis made about Trump saying "I wonder what Trump was thinking to pay hush money to a porn star, that's messed up" (yes I know I'm paraphrasing but that's basically the jist of what his remark was). That comment has many MAGA folks pissed at weakling Ron, and rightfully so.

  5. I still think he's a solid governor, but I'm not convinced he should advance any farther than that. It's amazing how quickly many people forget that Dubya was also seen as a great governor of Texas by many conservatives back when he was in that position. Just because you do good in a statewide office doesn't mean you'll be that based at the national stage; they're two completely different animals.

If DeSantis by some complete and utter miracle wins the primary, the MSM will quickly and easily magically "find" many instances of DeSantis being "racist" or "homophobic" or some other "-ist" or "-phobe" term, and then some women will magically come out of the woodwork claiming to have been "sexually assaulted" by him. And then like the loser right ALWAYS does whenever the left unleashes their BS on these great candidates, you'll all proceed to throw him under the bus and run away faster than the speed of a cheetah.
