@analystzorncasteel3047 Not to mention his huge hankering to ban guns and large drinks, as well as the prospect of him ignoring the 22nd amendment to run for a third term as president. A Sanders presidency scares the shit out of me, but a Bloomberg presidency even more so!

Yeah that's the sad thing. Some of those very old people are stuck in the past and still think the Democrats are championing the working class and are "looking out for the little guy". They've voted for the party for so long that they've become too attached to it to see how much the party has changed.

@fluffywaffles Did you mean to reply to me instead? Regardless, I mean hey, at least you did the best you could. Like I said, some people simply have voted the same way for far too long, so it's difficult to convince them to change sides at this stage in their life. For what it's worth, I do think it's a good think if there's still at least some contrasting opinions in this country. A world where everyone was conservative or everyone was liberal would be EXTREMELY boring!
