I am disgusted at the fact that I ever once liked Crenshaw. There is not one person in that entire body who has turned out to be as much of a liar and traitor as he has! To merely say the eye patch fooled me would be a MASSIVE understatement!

I haven't trusted either of them for a long time. Frankly Tucker Carlson is the only Fox News anchor I like, and even then there's still a decent chance he could be controlled opposition too. I just don't know anymore...

@umiluv Like I said, I like the guy from what I've seen of him and he's the only Fox News Anchor or frankly MSM anchor in general I trust anymore, but given that he's still attached to Fox News and likely can only speak about what the network allows him to speak about, I still question if he really is a true populist hero.

We know how the establishment operates... Rules for me, but never for thee!

@commandervile394 LMAO "Bootleg Solid Snake". Excuse me while I steal that 🤣

Sadly that may be the most likely outcome. Nonetheless I truly believe his image has been tarnished even if he does eventually get the speakership, which is glorious to see. I don't even think he'll run for reelection to his seat in 2024 at this rate!

@BonusHole I know that now...

Yes, which is nice, but I also think it needs to go further still. Term limits alone won't solve the core issue, which is that we fundamentally need to get money out of politics.

I mean to be fair, the race-baiting piece of crap Cori Bush is from Missouri, the same state the epic based Josh Hawley is from, so it's not as black-and-white as that. Nonetheless I sadly have to agree that CA is an unsalvageable mess now, and frankly the people there deserve what they get.

Yeah, in retrospect that should've been a major red flag right out the gate, but I think many people (myself included) were fooled by his youth, eye patch and combat experience to see it. Of course it didn't help that most of the GOP swamp at the time were doing a fairly good job at least pretending they were coming around to the MAGA movement since they realized that if they didn't do so they'd be out of a job...

@avarysse5782 MTG is sadly selling us out because of "muh committee assignments". Goes to show what I've said before... It doesn't matter how noble one person seems on the surface or what their initial intentions are when elected- they can still easily be bought and paid for at any point in time. Hence why we have to keep being skeptical of any and all elected officials no matter how based they appear.

@nottoday3666 I think Fox News has ALWAYS been establishment- they just did a very good job pretending they weren't during the Trump years because they, like the GOP swamp in Washington, recognized that if they didn't go along with MAGA they'd be left behind in the dust never to recover, so they merely pretended to be on our side to maintain relevancy. From the moment Trump "lost" in 2020 as well as the disappointing midterms this year, this was clear and evident. The sad reality is that so long as many conservative boomers are still stuck in the 1980's and refuse to move on from Reagan and face the actual current political reality we face, both genuine conservatism and the country as a whole are doomed.

@nottoday3666 Sadly I'd have to agree, and indeed it already seems to be happening with MTG with how weirdly she's been defending McCarthy recently. I think the sad reality is that once money and power start to really sink in and you get further and further entrenched in the system, it's so easy to get compromised and a former shell of your former self even if you did indeed enter office with noble intentions.

Too bad her replacement is just gonna be even worse. I also can't be fully satisfied knowing that she'll never face any sort of repercussions for her and her family's long history of corruption and crime.

It's also showing who the true colors are in regards to the so-called "conservatives" online and in the media. The supposed "right wingers" throwing a temper tantrum over McCarthy getting rejected is nothing but glorious to see. Now they're feeling the pain we felt when they screwed us over and refused to fund, support or even in some cases vote for our MAGA candidates because "MUH EXTREMISM/ELECTUBILITY!".

@DarkCT Honestly I wouldn't even mind if this is all that happens the next 2 years. It certainly would be a less garbage Congress than the previous ones filled with sham impeachment inquiries and sending millions of dollars to Ukraine!
1
Certainly would make sense considering that he's already threatening to primary those who are daring to oppose his Speakership that he believes he's owed for some reason!
1
They just need an excuse to lie and pretend that WE'RE the problem and not the swampy GOP that has screwed us over for far too long!

It's fairly obvious McCarthy and the GOP swamp made some sort of deal with her that the only way she'd be able to regain her committee assignments and avoid losing them again or even being expelled from the House is if she bowed down and backed McCarthy. If that somehow isn't the case then I'm inclined to think she was merely an actor this entire time, pretending to be a based fighter in order to generate headlines and now is trying to show her true colors after being overwhelmed by all the fame...
