I briefly liked him after he was first elected in 2018, but after he supported red flag laws and especially after he praised Liz Cheney for her impeachment vote, he's become one of my most hated Republicans of all.

With how mentally insane and contradictory the left are, I honestly would not be shocked if, in the event we ever get another Republican president and Trump criticizes something about them, the left will start praising and defending Orange Man as well and acting like the past 4 years never happened! This is why I can barely take politics seriously anymore; it's all theater...

  8. Honestly I hate the fact that Trump endorsed Stefanik. She's just as bad if not worse than Cheney on most issues and would only be a tiny upgrade. We need someone who not only talks a big game, but who actually fights for us too!

  9.  @Elban19  But she also voted against Trump's tax cuts because she was afraid of how they would affect her corporate donors and only voted with Trump 76% of the time in general, which is EXTREMELY low for a Republican (for further context, even War Pig Liz still voted with Trump 90% of the time). She has one of the most RINO voting records of any Republican in Congress, and just because she's young, attractive and good at speaking does not automatically make her deserving of the 3rd most powerful GOP slot in the House.

  15.  @nunereclipsereborn  Yes, but if you're going to take up one of the most powerful positions in the House, you ought to have a record that is at least near 100% aligned with the president in office (or ex-president in this case). Putting in a Republican who only voted with the president 76% of the time displays weakness and isn't a good way to build up the party. Again, just because Stefanik talks a big game doesn't mean she deserves the powerful slot.

But I'm just pointing out the obvious fact that leftists only seem to hate Republicans while they're president or when they are any type of threat to become president (which is also why they're praising warmongering RINO's Bush, McCain and Romney now despite that they once vehemently reviled all three of them, and rightfully so IMO). The moment they're no longer an electoral threat to them, they act like they always loved them and that it was all "just for fun" or some BS like that.
