I'm TOTALLY surprised by this news, John Fetterman seemed like the HEALTHIEST man EVER to enter the U.S. Senate! (Complete Sarcasm).

Say what you will about Oz. For as much as even I myself personally did not like him at all and thought he would've likely been at best just a slightly better version of Pat Toomey had he been elected, at least he was (and is) a healthy guy and could actually articulate his positions. It's a shame how sometimes us not adopting the same cultish behavior with our nominees that the left does leads to these kinds of situations... (And yes I know there was more than likely some voter f-word, I'm not denying that at all, but even still it's impossible to deny that the left is far better at coalescing behind their candidates no matter how bad they are compared to the right, and while that does have its benefits for us on the right at least principally speaking, it also is enough to unfortunately cost us in close elections like this. Just imagine if many of the same people who voted for the idiot potato we have in office right now simply because "HE'S NOT TRUMP!" instead abandoned him the same way we did Oz... Voter f-word or no voter f-word, we wouldn't be in this mess right now!).

@johnathin0061892 Compared to Fetterman Oz was practically a saint.

@klavier285 Yes indeed. And the GOP establishment isn't helping either by wasting millions of dollars in these divisive primaries.

It's a sad state of affairs when a political party is so divided and at war with each other that they can't even unite behind someone to defeat a complete and total unqualified and Marxist ogre like Fetterman.

I get that Oz sucked and all, but even still damn near ANYBODY is worth voting for over Fetterman. Hell, in a hypothetical Biden v. Fetterman match up, that'd probably be the only situation in which I could even stomach voting for this criminal potato. Plus even if Oz was as bad as he thought he would be (for all we know he probably could've just ended up being beholden to Trump and just voted however the hell Trump wanted him to vote irregardless of his own personal beliefs; the two are friends after all), we easily could've primaried him out in 6 years anyway. PA does have a pretty long and strong anti-incumbent history both in primaries and in general elections, after all.

@johnathin0061892 All I'm saying is that given the choice between a 3/10 option and a 0/10 (arguably even -1000/10) option, I'd pick the 3/10 option practically any day. Especially since now that Fetterman is about to stroke out, I have no doubt Josh Shapiro is likely gonna pick someone even worse than him to fill his spot, like Malcolm Kenyatta. At least with Oz Republicans still would've had some say on some rules in the Senate and he likely would've voted with our causes more than Pat Toomey did. Plus I always like to remind people: Back in 2016, SO many people were skeptical of Trump because of his own liberal comments he had made like 10 years prior. And look how much many of those same conservatives love him now! So it's very possible that Oz might've surprised us had he gotten to the Senate and been better than many people were expecting. For all we know he might've just voted however Trump wanted him to vote considering the two are friends.

@bondgabebond4907 I disagree, I actually think Biden is about on par with Fetterman. Arguably even better when you consider that he has TWENTY SEVEN YEARS on him!
