FDR was a socialist tyrant who paved the way towards the marxist takeover of America that has been upon us ever since, and at least 99.5% of the problems with our government today can be traced back to programs created by the man. He was easily one of the worst presidents of all time. The only reason why he's viewed so fondly by many is because of the liberal narrative that gets pushed through the public school system. Wartime presidents automatically are viewed as "heroes" and "saviors" of the nation, regardless of how good or bad their leadership style actually is.
