@vicarious7858 Get a job and work and then you won’t be homeless, simple.
6
@davidz3879 Rubbish, you mean it’s easier to beg from gullible people as opposed to working.
3
@irenedavo3768 Is that more woke nonsense?
3
@Brimstoneandfire Because professional beggars realise there are lots of naive gullible people in Brighton who will give money to feed their habits.
2
@zikozizon6711 There are far to many naive and gullible people treating these people like heroes giving them money which is then spent on drugs and alcohol. Also to many people facilitating the lifestyle of these professional beggars.
2
Because they are all not very bright.
2
@riyadj6784 Do you even know where Liverpool is? Have you ever been there?
1
@lemcakes32422 Utter rubbish, stop telling lies.
1
@nik-ev3eh No I wasn’t referring to you.
1
@lemcakes32422 Absolutely utter nonsense, stop talking crap.
1
@JDMJOE Don’t talk utter nonsense.
1
@NaaahBruv Clearly you are not very organised then are you? So you are telling me you were a rough sleeper while in a “ reasonable well paid job “?
1
@alanburgess2203 Clearly something wrong if he applied for 200 jobs and didn’t get one especially when employees are crying out for workers, and if he’s a foreign National why should he get benefits?
1
@alanburgess2203 And a quick check shows Irish Nationals can access social benefits in the UK, I knew there was something wrong with your story.
1
@irenedavo3768 Why not get a job?
1
@azillliasmith2734 High unemployment? There are currently over 1,318,000 job vacancies.
1
@duanemarshall1889 Take it from me that military homeless stuff is just utter nonsense. I’m ex military and every time I see a professional beggar claiming to be ex servicemen I speak to them and have never ever found a genuine case yet, professional beggars know gullible people will give more money if they lie about being ex servicemen.
1
@asmith9140 Because it belongs to the country and if you put bone idle drug addled tramps in it it would be destroyed. There’s 1,400,000 available jobs get one of those and hey presto problem solved.
1
@azillliasmith2734 Well seeing as you are such a " Expert " provide proof or be quiet.
1
@azillliasmith2734 Stop talking utter drivel, you haven't a clue what you are talking about. Stop being silly.
1
@gravel7614 In the UK there is a fantastic social welfare system believe me I worked in it. The problem is there are to many naive and gullible people feeding, clothing, giving money to professional beggars who in the main have accommodation and are receiving benefits. Also lots of people choose and actually enjoy rough sleeping and certainly have no intention of working. Don’t be fooled by professional beggars.
1
@gravel7614 Perhaps you are American? But certainly in the UK things are different.
1
@gravel7614 And get into Uni? Get a proper job and then you can get accommodation.
1
@gravel7614 Utter nonsense There are over 1,400,000 job vacancies and employers are desperate for people and if you want a shower there are loads of places to go. Stop making feeble excuses.
1
@gravel7614 Basically you are talking nonsense, if you want a job you’ll get one like millions and millions of people. Don’t make feeble excuses for feckless people.
1
@gravel7614 Stop talking utter drivel.
1
@gravel7614 What a silly remark, I can tell you there’s very little of the world I haven’t seen. You need to stop playing at being a rather pathetic victim, are you a Scouser?
1
@gravel7614 What’s making you a victim is your constant whining about stuff you clearly know absolutely nothing about. Time you grew up AND don’t be fooled by professional beggars making mugs out of naive and gullible people like you.
1
@gravel7614 You really are dim aren’t you? These professional beggars raking in a fortune from gullible and naive people like you and then spending it on drugs and alcohol are not homeless they choose rough sleeping as a lifestyle and for anyone who is actually homeless there is a well tried system that works. Go out now and look for all these “ Homeless “ and you’ll find they’ve all gone home. And just let me confirm to you lots of these people enjoy rough sleeping and that’s why they just leave the accommodation they have been given or absolutely wreck it because they know gullible mugs like you will be fawning all over them. Don’t be fooled by professional beggars.

@gravel7614 There are over 1,400,000 job vacancies at the moment and especially in London opportunities exist for live in work in the hotel industry unfortunately to many people want to live in London without working and especially people with no connections to London. Having worked on a professional level with people claiming to be homeless in London I’m fully aware of the issues. If gullible people stopped giving money and other things to people begging you would soon see them disappear, instead give money to Shelter, Salvation Army etc. Two days ago a professional beggar with absolutely no connection to this country was found dead from a drugs overdose in Manchester who actually had accommodation yet choose this lifestyle and a couple of years ago a beggar was arrested with over £500 in change on him he was also foreign and had accommodation. There are very few people who couldn’t get a bed for the night from family, friends or associates. People should be encouraged to be responsible for their own situation and also accept that they may have to live in a bedsit as opposed to a flat. Having lived and worked in several third world countries people rambling on about poverty and homelessness should have a look at how they live, no wonder thousands and thousands try to enter this country.
